Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search Tools
When you type a name, location, or other term into a search box, the query is sent to the outside provider that operates the tool. Caldwell County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy terms apply to its handling of the query.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or submit a contact message, we retain the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share those messages outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
A page visit can create routine technical and usage records. These records help operate and assess the site.
- Your Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when supplied
- Date and time information
Cookie Use
Cookies may help measure how visitors move through the site and support site functions. Most browsers allow you to reject or remove them. Blocking cookies may cause some tools or preferences to work differently.
Reasons We Use Data
- Operate the site and maintain reasonable performance
- Send search requests to the selected partner service
- Understand which pages visitors find useful
- Diagnose errors and other technical problems
- Present advertising that may reflect visitor interests
Other Websites and Services
Links may lead to Caldwell County offices, Kentucky corrections resources, release-record portals, federal locators, or outside search services. After you leave, the destination's own privacy notice controls how it collects and uses information.
Advertising providers may use their systems to observe activity across multiple sites and select interest-based ads. That cross-site processing occurs under their technology and policies, not ours.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be handled by:
- Search partners that process a submitted query
- Analytics providers that measure site use
- Advertising networks serving or evaluating ads
- Law enforcement or another government body responding to a valid legal order
Reasonable Security Measures
We use standard practices intended to protect information under our control. No website, network, transmission, or storage method is entirely secure. We cannot promise that a breach, interception, or unauthorized access will never occur.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has submitted information, notify us through Contact Us so a deletion request can be reviewed.
Your Privacy Choices
- Ask for a copy of personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of information that is inaccurate
- Ask for deletion where applicable
- Object to or opt out of certain processing where that right applies
Changes to This Notice
We may revise this Privacy Notice as site practices or legal requirements change. A revised version becomes available on this page with a new effective date when posted.
